At the Procuratie Vecchie di San Marco, headquarters of The human safety net, the Venice Sustainability Foundation (VSF) organized a panel at the forum managed by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (Rics) association.
The speakers brought their experiences on the topic of “Climate Resilient Cities and Infrastructure: Venice’s Vision for the Future,” during the “World built environment forum – Europe,” a two-day event in which members, professionals from around the world working in the building and real estate industry, had the opportunity to learn more about the lagoon reality and sustainable perspectives for the city’s future.
The side event of the 2023 Biennale della Sostenibilità – The MOSE Era started with a narration of the Mose system and its impact on the territory, and then hosted the speakers’ visions of how to transform Venice’s infrastructure, a key step in supporting the transition to zero carbon emissions.
